Two members of Norwalk Professional Firefighters Local 830 recently attended this year’s IAFF Affiliate Leadership Training Summit (ALTS)/Human Relations Conference.

The ALTS conference provides IAFF Union leaders with top-tier education and
programming that reflects the ongoing challenges we are facing in the fire service such as recruitment and retention issues, burnout prevention, PFAS and cancer research, suicide in the fire service, building local political power, crisis communications, union governance, fire fighter fitness, retiree healthcare, and more.
