First Due Response District:
Year Built- 1967 Station 4 is home to Engine Co. 4 also known as "The Post Road Express “which covers a very large portion of the city. Engine 4’s first due response area is comprised of single and multi-family residences, high density multi story residential complexes, mercantile occupancies, medical facilities, Norwalk High School, "big box" stores, strip malls and manufacturing businesses. The Wall St, East Ave and Westport Ave corridors lie within their first due. Engine 4 is consistently the busiest of the 3 single Engine Companies in the city with responses to many traffic accidents, EMS runs, working fires and mutual aid requests from our neighbors in Westport.
